ATTENTION: Monday Night AGBU League Players If you are playing in this tournament, this is for you. HMEM has decided that we are no longer allowed to play. They will look the other way on the previous games we participated in, but if anyone continues to play in this league they will be facing strict consequences from Regional. (i.e. suspensions for the Navasartian games). Kind of sucks that they can regulate what we do OUTSIDE of HMEM. But supposedly it is in the HMEM bylaws (which can be found here: http://www.homenetmen.org/ ) Anyway, i'm pretty sure there is nothing we can do about this unless we call the Law Offices of Vicken O. Ive heard, some people are going to file law suits against homenetmen for this. I guess we got inter Armenian war going on here. Just because someone who is in the commitee is upset at something AGBU did they are not letting us play.
Its funny, cuz we all play in outdoor leagues that are non armenian, but HMEM bitches when we are a part of an ARMENIAN organization. Wack.

That's ballsy of you. if i were you guys, I'd stay away. You know they dont f*** around. They canceled the ENTIRE WINTER TOURNEY. This is on some machismo bullshit. its always been a dick swinging contest between AGBU and HMEM and it will always be a dick swinging contest. These guys have egos that match their ever growing hate for the other organizations. Its not just Hopenetmen vs. Homenetmen. They also s*** on the other guys (homenmen, OIA, etc) From what i have heard the HMEM head honcho works for the AGBU big cheese. The AGBU guy was bragging to the HMEM guy about how his new league has all of HMEMs teams and there is nothing HMEM can do about it. Obviously the most logical thing for HMEM to do was to ban all of their young Armenian athletes from doing the one thing we love to do, participate in fun athletic games with other young Armenian athletes. It was a no-brainier. I'm glad that the Turks aren't the only enemies of Armenians. |

As a tax exempt nonprofit org. They can't do anything about holding hmem players not to play as a nonmember team...we aren't using Ararat as our team name..you can't tell an adult where or what tourny he or she wants to play at...and if hmem is allowing volleyball to participate the. They can't hold basketball from playing...that's just bs...

This is why Armenians will never get anywhere. We should learn from the Jews. They support each other and help their own kind to advance. I have a few acquisitions to present to you guys, but i wanna know what teams are doing what, but heres a few things im hearing!
Mike Danielian will be playing for MASSIS 1
Tom Barseghian will be suiting up for the 16 man roster ARARAT 1 for Navarsartian
Sharas are back for Navarsartian for Ararat 2
Lalazarians are back for Orange County
Yeghish has left to play with LA 1
LA 3 is very solid with Jack and Joe
LA2 Always roster changes with Coach Z but im hearing some people moving around before Navarsartian
Shant might be recruiting another 6'6 guy
We all know in th eend Ararat 1 is winning it all , sorry guys

HERE IT GOES..
1. Ararat 1 – champions no need to explain
2. LA 1 – Carlo's back, Hearing Rumors that LA2 center Yeghia is on board. They must pick up some young legs and they can be scary
3. Shant 1 – Good team same old story, wont get over the hump.
4. Ararat 2 – This team will be in the final against either Ararat 1 or Ararat 1.
5. LA 3 – Joe will be the man again on this team and Anthony and Ed are on a mission, not a basketball , on a mission to look like superman...
6. Massis – Finally Will Mike Danelian will play, Lets see what this kid is made of.
7. LA 2 – Z still recruiting Dominique and Larry bird from retirement.This team needs a Good PG and a Center, and as long as Z coaches, he will bring on scorers and itll just be a scoring team and one fun to watch but will never WIN.

By the way, I think if you guys win it all this year, I'll shut down the site. There really is no reason to run this site anymore if NO ONE ELSE IN THE f******* WORLD can beat Ararat 1 in the finals...
